Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the 1.3 L PrimeTech set provide more than one simultaneous burner?
No. P351032 is a one-burner system even though it includes two nested pots and a colander lid; its 1.3 L label describes the system cookware, not a second cooking position or a guaranteed serving count.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I add another windscreen around this integrated system?
The set has a built-in windscreen, but the checked PrimeTech family manual does not say that an extra separate shield is approved. The finder therefore does not treat P351032 as a match for a required manual-approved separate screen.
Explore this need in the finder →Is 903 g the minimum weight, or does 1.3 L establish the widest safe pan?
The exact page lists 903 g without calling it a minimum or complete carried mass, and it publishes no maximum cookware diameter. Neither value is inferred from the cookware volume, pot supports or product-table dimensions.
Explore this need in the finder →The PrimeTech Stove System 1.3L (P351032) is an integrated one-burner kitchen, not a small two-burner range. Its appeal is the way a remote-canister burner, windscreen, two nested pots, draining lid and handling pieces travel together. The real decision is whether that cooking bundle solves enough meal-preparation work to justify a heavier and more involved kit than a burner plus one pot. This assessment uses Primus US product material and its linked family manual; I did not use, test, weigh or time the stove.
What the 1.3 L package actually includes
The exact US listing identifies P351032 and UPC 7330033905533. Primus describes two nesting pots, with one pot carrying a heat exchanger and ceramic nonstick coating, plus a transparent lid that doubles as a colander, an independent t-grip piezo igniter, a removable Crimp Pot Gripper, insulated storage bag and folding heat reflector. A windscreen is built into the cooking system. Gas is sold separately. That is a more complete backcountry kitchen than a bare burner, but the second pot is cookware—not another flame position.
Primus says this 1.3 L system is suited to one to three people. Read that as a manufacturer use-case estimate, not a measured serving guarantee. A single flame still means one active cooking task at a time: boil water, drain a pot, then move the pan onto the same burner. The regulated valve and marketing description support adjustable heat for simmering; no low-flame stability or recipe test was performed here.
Where its architecture helps—and where it constrains
The remote-canister layout puts the burner and cookware on their own support structure rather than directly on the cartridge. The folding reflector, lower center of gravity and integrated wind protection are parts of the design Primus describes. The nested pieces should make a tidy kit when packed, especially for someone who wants the matched lid and gripper already accounted for. The trade is that several bundled pieces must be packed and handled, and the 1.3 L label cannot tell you whether a particular frying pan will sit safely inside the windscreen.
Primus’s exact product table lists a 180 mm diameter and 903 g, but it does not call the mass a minimum weight or say that it is the fully packed kit. The diameter is a product dimension, not a stated maximum cookware diameter. Neither value should be converted into a hard trail-fit promise. Fuel, the real pot load, and any other cooking utensils add to what a person carries.
Performance claims need their source context
The product page’s table lists 2,000 W and 145 g per hour, and says the PrimeTech pot’s listed boil time is 3.5 minutes; its narrative also describes a litre boil in under four minutes. The linked PrimeTech family manual instead states about 2.6 kW and 198 g per hour. These are manufacturer statements with different values and no common test protocol shown in the checked materials. The discrepancy should not be resolved by choosing whichever figure sounds best, and none is an independent performance measurement.
The integrated heat exchanger and windscreen are presented as efficiency features, but the page’s claimed fuel savings are also not an outdoor test of this exact US unit. Cold, wind, starting-water temperature, fuel blend and the exact vessel change a cook’s result. Treat the page numbers as claims to compare with the instructions and package, not as a promise that every litre or meal follows a stopwatch.
Fuel, setup and wind protection
The family manual names Primus propane/isobutane/butane cartridges in its 2202xx, 2206xx and 2207xx groups. The canister is not included. That is not the finder’s exact MSR 80/20 option or Jetboil JetPower option; a threaded-looking cartridge alone is not proof of a particular blend or standard. The manual also calls for outdoor, well-ventilated use, a level stable surface and at least 500 mm clearance from the roof and walls. Check seals and connections outdoors and follow the manual’s exact lighting, shutdown and storage routine.
The included windscreen is part of this system, but the reviewed manual does not explicitly authorize adding a second separate screen. It therefore does not meet a requirement that the exact manual permit a separate screen. Do not improvise a wrap around the burner or cartridge. The manual also warns that the cookware and gripper become hot; the pot gripper should not remain attached while cooking.
Who should compare it with the sibling size?
P351032 suits a cook who values a matched two-pot set and integrated wind protection, and who can accept one burner and an unclear strict-weight basis. The larger PrimeTech 2.3L P351033 keeps the same basic architecture but has different capacity, listed dimensions and package mass; the Essential Stove Set 1.3L P351030 is another distinct one-burner set with different cookware. Do not treat those reviews as interchangeable packages or transfer one manual’s numbers to another product.
Before choosing, verify the exact P351032 code, supplied pot/lid/gripper/reflector pieces, and the fuel canister recommended for the unit being sold. If your decision depends on a maximum pan width, a minimum stove weight, verified simmer quality or a guaranteed boil time, the public material reviewed here does not establish those points. This is a research-based comparison, not a report of personal ownership, cooking, field use or laboratory testing.
