Privacy and finder choices

The finder uses product preferences such as fuel, cookware size and carrying limits to calculate a shortlist. It does not ask for your name, contact details or trip itinerary. Do not enter sensitive personal information.

Selections and buying pages

Submitted choices are processed by this site's matching service. If you continue to a BuyerShortlists product page, public question IDs and answers may travel in the link's URL fragment so that page can display your selections and provide a return link. A fragment is processed in the browser and is not part of the ordinary HTTP request to that page. It is not an authenticated record or a guarantee of product compatibility.

External services

Opening a website sends normal connection information, including an IP address and requested address, to its hosting service. Following a link to BuyerShortlists, Amazon or a manufacturer opens a separate service with its own privacy practices. The finder selections carried for display on BuyerShortlists are not appended to the Amazon buying link. Review the destination's privacy information before providing personal details or completing a purchase.
